The LUSEM library holds a broad variety of books and journals within the LUSEM subject areas. The main part of the collection consists of electronic material.
Where do I search for information?
LUBsearch is the entry point to all of the University Libraries’ collective resources, electronic and printed. A single search enables you to find articles, journals, doctoral theses, books, and e-books. To restrict your search to printed books and e-books, use our library catalogue Lovisa. LUBsearch contains a large part of the database content owned by Lund University. Databases covered by LUBsearch are marked with a LUBsearch symbol in the database-list.
Printed books are placed in our open collection (ÖS) or in the closed stacks (Magasin). We also hold a collection of course books, primarily intended for students. Most printed books at the Lund University libraries can be ordered through LUBsearch/Lovisa to be picked up at the LUSEM Library. To access e-books you need your Lucat-ID.
Search for electronic articles in LUBsearch. Large parts of the material is available in full text. If you want to search for articles within a subject area, go to one of our subject databases. When using Google Scholar at work, many of our journals will be available in full text. If you use a computer outside of the Lund University network you have to adjust the Google Scholar settings to get access to full text supplied by the library. If you can’t find a full text through Google Scholar, please use the list of ePublications.
Printed journals placed in our closed stacks (Magasin) are requested through our library catalogue Lovisa.
LUBITO is a service where students and staff at Lund University can order scanned articles from journals available in print at the University Library (UB). The service is free of charge and a link to the PDF-file will be delivered the following weekday.
To access our databases use the database list a-z. For more information about databases in specific subject areas - go to LibGuides. Are you missing a database or do you need help? Please contact the library.
Can't find what you need?
Interlibrary loan services allows staff and students to request articles and books. We also welcome suggestions for acquisition of material which supports the LUSEM teaching and research areas.
